It isn't easy juggling your 9-5 full time job, being a super dad to the lil man who greets me with a huge smile everyday as I pick him up from grandmas house, help the wife with house chores while she cooks up some of her famous dishes and when there's finally some silence (at around 10pm) tend to my editing. As i've heard sooo many say, "Hard work eventually pays off" and it's true!
Starting today I will challenge myself to keeping up with my blog and post each photo session I do. I just purchased this new iPad and am amazed of all that I could do with it to keep me connected to all the social networks out there.
Didn't know what picture to add to this post so I'll just show one of the first pictures taken With this iPad.
Just to give you a glimpse of my life let me tell you how this picture came about. I Was summoned to serve jury duty on Monday and had to be in downtown Los Angeles superior court house at 7:45am. Woke up extra early with the wife and packed up Josiah's diaper bag with all essentials needed for a day with grandma. Wife (Martha for those who don't know us on a personal level) did the honers of Dropping off our big boy while I have 1 min to leave the house. I'm still waiting for the last few drops of coffee to fill my cup to the top and once that's done we're on our way. To make a long story short I get to court and end up rescheduling, I get a smog check in order to renew my registration (that's where picture was taken), purchase new dinning room table, and center table piece, pick up my purchase at the furniture stores warehouse 26 miles away, get home and build each and every part of the tables without using any instruction manuals (who needs them?? I've watched handy Manny several times and feel confident enough to finish quick) and 3 hours later wish I would have read which screws went where. By now it's time to pick up my son. I look at him through the window and watch his face light up with sooo much joy as he hears the ring of the door bell. He knows daddy is on the other side of that door just waiting to smother him with lots of hugs and kisses. As I toss him up in the air and catch him in my arms, he leans forward and kisses my left cheek (he just learned how to give kisses) and I know right at that moment that being a parent is exactly what I dreamed it would be.
Here's a picture of one of the finished tables I built along with Josiah watching his favorite show "Yo Gabba Gabba".
